San Diego Padres rookie, Graham Pauley, strikes out in an embarrassing moment against the San Francisco Giants. Facing Giants relief pitcher Tyler Rogers, Pauley swung and missed at an 0-2 slider that hit his shoulder and then his helmet. Replays showed Pauley's bat tipping the ball, but foul tips are not reviewable under MLB rules, resulting in a hard-luck strikeout.
