Northwest Minnesota lawmakers seek $57.3M in bonding bill funds for seven flood control projects in Red River Basin, with additional benefits including water quality improvement and fish/wildlife habitat enhancements. Passing a bonding bill is a legislative priority; however, Red River Basin project inclusion is uncertain. Funding would be raised through bond issuance for public works projects.
