Man shot dead in San Francisco's Mission District: A man was fatally shot on Friday afternoon in the Mission District of San Francisco at around 1:37pm. Officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds on the 2300 block of Mission Street. Life-saving efforts were unsuccessful and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
