Kerala Governor appoints K Byjunath as acting chairperson of State Human Rights Commission.
Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan appointed K Byjunath as the acting chairperson of the State Human Rights Commission after Chief Justice of Kerala High Court, Justice S Manikumar, declined the role due to personal reasons. Byjunath previously served as acting chief after Justice Antony Dominic's retirement. The appointment was recommended by a committee of Chief Minister, Speaker, and Leader of Opposition.
