Inmate Jason Sanford died from a medical emergency during intake at Clayton County Jail.

An inmate, Jason Sanford, died after a medical emergency during intake at Clayton County Jail. According to the Clayton County Sheriff's Office, Sanford was brought to the jail on charges of giving a false name and experienced back and wrist pain. After a medical emergency, CPR and Narcan were administered, but he passed away later at Southern Regional Hospital. The cause of death remains undisclosed.
