3-hour northbound I-5 closure in Arlington due to fatal car-pedestrian crash, WSP investigating.
Northbound I-5 in Arlington was closed for nearly three hours after a fatal crash involving a car and a pedestrian. All lanes heading north on I-5 reopened after the 29-year-old woman was killed early Friday morning. Washington State Patrol (WSP) is investigating the incident, but impairment is not suspected in either the driver or the pedestrian. The cause of the woman being on the freeway is still unknown.
