The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) plans to arraign former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele and co-defendant Henry Omile on a 26-count charge on Monday, April 8. The charges include allegations of abuse of office, corruption, and arbitrarily allocating $2.136 billion in foreign exchange without bids, which is believed to be prejudicial to Nigerians. Emefiele and his co-defendant are set to appear before Justice Rahman Oshodi of the Lagos High Court, Ikeja.
