CBI busts child trafficking syndicate, arrests seven, rescues two newborns in Delhi and Haryana.
The CBI has busted a child trafficking syndicate, arresting seven persons who used social media ads on Facebook and WhatsApp to sell infants to childless couples. During a raid at seven locations in Delhi and Haryana, two newborns were rescued. The CBI seized incriminating documents, including Rs.5.5 lakh cash. The accused, including the masterminds Neeraj and Indu Pawar, are involved in trafficking infants across the country for adoption and other illegal purposes.
