Mumbai: Two BMC engineers and a social activist were arrested by the ACB for allegedly demanding a Rs 20 lakh bribe to not take action against an illegal structure on the fifth floor of a building and other unauthorised structures. The private person was caught accepting a Rs 8 lakh bribe and led the ACB to the two engineers. The BMC had issued an eviction notice for the unauthorised construction.
