On April 4, New Bern man Kareem Stewart was arrested in Lenoir County for drug trafficking (fentanyl, MDMA) following a traffic stop and probable cause search.

A New Bern man, Kareem Stewart, was arrested in Lenoir County on drug charges following a traffic stop on April 4. Deputies from the Street Crimes and Rapid Response unit found fentanyl during a probable cause search, leading to charges of trafficking Schedule I controlled substance and possession with intent to sell/deliver MDMA. Stewart is currently in custody at the Lenoir County Detention Center.
