36-year-old inmate Edward Cherry allegedly stabbed another inmate multiple times at Fulton County Jail, resulting in the victim's death. Cherry was being held without bond on numerous charges including aggravated assault and kidnapping since April 2020. The Atlanta Police Department is investigating the incident and the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy.
