21-year-old Irvin Ramirez was arrested after a peaceful SWAT standoff in Brookhaven. Police had been called to a residence where Ramirez was allegedly assaulting his sister, barricaded inside, and threatening to shoot. After a negotiator communicated with him, Ramirez agreed to surrender, leading to his arrest and charges including battery (Family Violence Act), criminal damage to property, and false imprisonment.
