90-year-old Ed Dwight, the first US Black astronaut candidate, will finally reach space with Blue Origin. Dwight, who missed out on space in the 1960s due to racial controversy, will be part of the six-person crew on Blue Origin's New Shepard suborbital rocket ship. The flight date has not yet been announced, but the mission will be sponsored by Space for Humanity and the Jaison and Jamie Robinson Foundation.
