56-year-old Anthony McDonald charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article after a woman was reportedly assaulted with an axe in Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire. The woman remains in critical condition after the attack on Boothferry Road, which led to a large-scale police response involving the National Police Air Service.
