Majestic, the UK's largest specialist wine retailer, has rescued Vagabond Wines from administration, saving 170 jobs and securing the future of nine of its 12 wine bars. The acquisition of Vagabond Wines allows Majestic to reach a younger demographic of wine drinkers and further expand its business. The deal does not include two Gatwick Airport bars and the Canary Wharf site, which will close.
