Tesla reduced Model Y SUV prices in the US by up to $7,500 to clear inventory amid lower Q1 deliveries.

Tesla has slashed prices of its Model Y SUVs by up to $7,500 in the US to clear inventory. The company's Q1 production reached 433,371 vehicles, but deliveries fell short at 386,810, blaming the drop on Model 3 production ramp, a Berlin Gigafactory arson attack, and supply chain issues. The move follows a trend of building more cars than Tesla has shipped in seven of the last eight quarters.
