Nigerian military forces reportedly killed 2,351 terrorists, arrested 2,308 others, and rescued 1,241 kidnapped hostages between January and March 2024, according to the Defence Headquarters. These operations involved synchronised strikes between ground and air forces on terrorist enclaves, resulting in the recovery of 2,847 weapons and 58,492 ammunitions. The military also denied over N20 billion returns to oil thieves.
