Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine develops Legally Blonde TV spinoff series with Amazon MGM Studios, scripted by Gossip Girl creators.

Reese Witherspoon's production company, Hello Sunshine, is developing a new Legally Blonde TV spinoff series in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. The project is being scripted by Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. The original film, released in 2001, was followed by two sequels and a Broadway musical, with a third film in development. The TV series will follow the story of Elle Woods, played by Witherspoon in the original movie.
