Ohio's distracted driving law, signed last April, has resulted in a 16% decrease in crashes involving distracted driving, as well as 37% fewer deadly or seriously injurious crashes linked to distracted drivers. The law, which became a primary offense, has seen a rise in distracted driving violations.
