Louisiana State Police are investigating the apparent suicide of an armed suspect during a manhunt in East Feliciana Parish, following a domestic disturbance on April 4. Deputies from the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office were met with gunfire during the manhunt, and returned fire. A preliminary investigation found the suspect died from a single self-inflicted gunshot wound.
