Lexus CEO indicates the LBX Morizo RR concept with 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and Toyota Yaris Cross platform is "highly likely" to enter production.
Lexus' LBX Morizo RR concept, featuring a 300HP 1.6-liter turbocharged engine from the GR Yaris and Corolla, is "highly likely" to enter production, according to Lexus Australia's CEO, John Pappas. The vehicle, unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon in January, is based on the Toyota Yaris Cross platform and features luxury elements and Toyota's eight-speed Direct Shift Transmission. However, it is not expected to be available in North America.
