India's Supreme Court denies plea for Sufi saint's remains transportation from Pakistan to India.

The Supreme Court of India has rejected a plea seeking the direction of the central government to bring the mortal remains of an India-born Pakistani Sufi saint who died in Bangladesh in 2022 for re-burial in India. The court stated that there is no constitutionally enforceable right to seek the transportation of the Sufi saint's remains as he was a Pakistani citizen.
