Telangana's Department of Heritage has discovered 3,730 Ikshvaku-era coins at Phanigiri, a renowned Buddhist heritage site in Suryapet district. The lead coins, featuring an elephant symbol and a Ujjain symbol, date back to the 3rd and 4th centuries CE. The excavation team also found various cultural antiquities, such as stone and glass beads, shell bangle fragments, and pottery.
