Human remains found in Nantucket's wooded area by two men lead to an ongoing police investigation.
Human remains discovered in a wooded area of Nantucket by two men searching for deer antler sheds led to an ongoing investigation by Nantucket police. The remains were found near the east end of the island on Thursday at approximately 5:09 p.m. and were later taken to the medical examiner's office for a cause of death determination. The Nantucket Police Department Detective Unit is leading the investigation.
