9 Egyptian men, accused of people smuggling, will face trial in Greece in relation to a deadly migrant shipwreck last year. The overcrowded fishing trawler, carrying hundreds of migrants from Pakistan, Syria, and Egypt, sank off the southern town of Pylos in international waters while on its way from Libya to Italy. The trial, set to begin on May 21, will be the first opportunity to officially hear the accounts of those present at the time of the incident.
