Duke Energy sells 50% stake in Pioneer Transmission LLC to John Laing Group, proceeds for clean energy transition.

Duke Energy (NYSE: DUK) has agreed to sell its 50% stake in Pioneer Transmission LLC to John Laing Group for an undisclosed amount. Proceeds from the sale will be invested in Duke Energy's clean energy transition in its state-regulated utilities. The sale is subject to approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, and expected to close by the end of 2024.
