Colorado Democratic State Senator Faith Winter is seeking treatment for alcohol use disorder after appearing intoxicated at a public meeting about a sex offender halfway-house. Winter, who represents District 25, has stepped down temporarily as chair of the Senate Transportation & Energy Committee to focus on her health. She has apologized for her behavior and pledged to make things right.
