Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia, arrested in the Delhi excise policy case, has written a letter to his constituents from Tihar Jail, comparing his imprisonment to the struggles faced by freedom fighters during British colonial rule. The former deputy chief minister thanked the people of his Patparganj constituency for their support and care for his ailing wife, asserting his commitment to education. Sisodia hopes to be out of jail soon and vows to meet his constituents "soon outside".
