65-year-old fisherman Will Anthony Newman from Dothan drowned after falling overboard near Cheneyhatchee Bridge in Lake Eufaula on Wednesday. The body was recovered around 7:55 p.m. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Marine Division is handling the investigation, with assistance from Eufaula police and fire departments, Alabama Game and Fish Division, Barbour County Sheriff's Office, and Houston County Dive Team.
