131-year-old Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Co. of Iowa (FMH) acquires Global Ag Insurance Services, a crop insurance provider, to expand in specialty crop sector. This move strengthens FMH's core crop insurance business, aligns with their goal of national expansion, and enhances relationships with specialty crop producers and agents. Global Ag, a USDA multi-peril crop insurance program and specialty private & named peril products provider, was previously a subsidiary of AXA XL.
