1 dies after Omaha police attempt traffic stop: A woman was pronounced dead at an Omaha hospital early Wednesday after being ejected from a vehicle that crashed when police attempted a traffic stop. Omaha police officers tried to stop a Nissan pickup truck linked to a shots fired call in Council Bluffs. The male driver and female passenger were not injured and were taken to Omaha Police Headquarters for questioning. The woman later died at the hospital.
