Volvo Cars achieved an all-time high with 25% rise in March sales to 78,970 vehicles, driven by the launch of its fully electric small SUV. Sales of electric cars increased by 43% and accounted for 23% of all sales globally. Volvo Cars, majority-owned by China's Geely Holding, aims for 15% growth in annual sales and expects electric vehicles to make up half of its sales volumes by mid-decade.
