Vietnam's newly-registered FDI surged 57.9% year-on-year in Q1, reaching over $4.77 billion. Total registered FDI, including new pledges, additional investment funds, and equity acquisition, increased 13.4% to over $6.17 billion in Q1. The Foreign Investment Agency attributed this growth to new investments in sectors such as battery production, photovoltaic cells, and electronic components.
