The cost of a vegetable thali rose to Rs 27.3 per plate from Rs 25.5 in the previous year, with onion prices rising 40%, tomatoes 36%, and potatoes 22%. Non-vegetarian thali costs decreased 7% due to a 16% reduction in broiler prices.
