Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Pakistan, Oybek Arif Usmanov, sees significant potential for Punjab to reach a $1 billion trade volume with Uzbekistan. He noted a 50-60% increase in trade between Uzbekistan and Pakistan over the past four years, with the bilateral trade volume rising from $300-$400 million last year. Ambassador Usmanov highlighted the efforts of the Lahore Consulate and proposed a roadmap for industrial cooperation to enhance mutual investment and joint ventures in both countries.
