Uber Eats and Waymo partner to offer driverless meal delivery in select Phoenix neighborhoods, giving customers the option to opt out if preferred. Users will receive in-app notifications indicating the use of autonomous vehicles and will unlock the vehicle's trunk to retrieve their orders upon arrival. The new feature is free for customers and is set to debut in Chandler, Mesa, and Tempe.
