Tamil Nadu's government has filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court, accusing the Indian central government of withholding disaster relief funds for damages caused by recent floods and Cyclone Michaung. The state government seeks over ₹37,000 crore in aid and has invoked Article 131 of the Constitution. The plea also requests a direction to release ₹2,000 crore as an interim measure.
