Severe storms hit the Midlands, causing damage and power outages. Strong winds, gusting up to 60-70mph, toppled trees onto homes in Lexington, Richland, Kershaw, Newberry, and Saluda Counties. Isolated downpours resulted in brief minor flooding in certain areas, and some injuries were reported. Damages included trees falling on homes on Meadow Wood Drive, Barhamville Road, and 406 Joyner Avenue.
