The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is seeking public comments on proposed rule changes for the listing and trading of shares of three spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) from asset managers Bitwise, Fidelity, and Grayscale. The SEC plans to make a final decision on these ETFs in May. While the approval of several Bitcoin ETFs in January raised hopes for similar decisions on Ether ETFs, some analysts have speculated that the odds of the commission making a similar decision on Ether ETFs have steadily dropped this year.
