Panoro Energy has reached a deal with Equatorial Guinea's government on offshore Block EG-23, located north of Bioko Island. The Heads of Terms agreement with GEPetrol, the national oil company, and the Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons allows for exclusive negotiations to finalize a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) and develop a work program and budget. Panoro aims to hold an 80% participating interest in the block upon award of the PSC.
