NZ maritime tech startup Starboard Maritime Intelligence raises NZ$5 million in seed funding to expand its AI-powered vessel surveillance platform. The platform, which identifies and tracks illegal fishing, transnational crime, and biosecurity threats, has early adopters in New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific Islands. The funding will help the company grow its presence in the Pacific region and North America, as well as expand its go-to-market function.
