The New York Mets signed veteran starting pitcher Julio Teheran from the Milwaukee Brewers.

The New York Mets have agreed to a contract with veteran starting pitcher Julio Teheran, reports suggest. The Mets, who are dealing with injuries and bad weather draining their rotation, are set to sign the 33-year-old right-hander, who previously spent time with the Milwaukee Brewers. Teheran, a two-time All-Star, had a 4.40 ERA in 11 starts and three relief appearances for the Brewers last season.
