A mudslide closed a portion of state Route 39 near the state line in East Liverpool, but was reopened to one lane after cleanup efforts. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and stay clear of the affected road. The Columbiana County Engineer's Office and the city's road department worked together to set up traffic signals and maintain safety while clearing debris and ensuring the road was safe for traffic.
