Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) stopped a driver for not stopping at an aquatic invasive species inspection station near Anaconda, where mussels were found on the boat. The driver was sent back to the station, where more mussels were detected. A full decontamination was performed, and FWP reminded the public that it's the law for anyone transporting watercraft to stop at all open inspection stations they encounter. Aquatic invasive species pose a threat to Montana's waterways, environment, and economy.
