Mexico's Televisa acquires AT&T's stake in Sky Mexico, taking full control; deal payment in 2027-2028.

Mexico's Televisa has agreed to buy AT&T's stake in Sky Mexico, fully controlling the satellite TV unit. The deal will be paid in 2027 and 2028, though the cost is undisclosed. Televisa's current head of cable TV and internet service, Francisco Valim, will also lead Sky. The acquisition aims to improve cost efficiency and drive better results for Sky, which has lagged in recent years.
