A male elephant strayed from Maharashtra's herd into Telangana's Kumura Bheem Asifabad district, killing two farmers within 24 hours. The elephant first attacked and killed 50-year-old Alluri Shankar in Burepally village, followed by the killing of 55-year-old Karu Poshanna in Kondapalli village. Forest officials have set up patrols along the border to monitor the elephant's movements and prevent further attacks.
