4 major supermarket chains' drivers face higher fuel costs due to rising oil prices and a weak UK pound, causing a 6p increase in petrol prices since the start of the year.

Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, and Sainsbury's drivers face higher fuel prices due to "unfair" costs, according to RAC fuel spokesman Simon Williams. The rising cost of oil and the UK pound's low value against the dollar have led to a 2p per litre increase in petrol prices, resulting in a 6p increase since the start of the year. Asda is no longer the cheapest retailer, with Tesco having the lowest average petrol price in March.
