Taiwan earthquake: 2 Canadians rescued as Ottawa updates travel advisory.

A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Taiwan on Wednesday, causing four deaths and 57 injuries. The earthquake, the most powerful tectonic event on the island since 1999, was centered off the coast of Hualien County, causing widespread damage to buildings and infrastructure. Taiwan's population is well-prepared for earthquakes, but authorities did not send out alerts as they expected a milder event.
