LG Energy Solution plans to complete its $5.5B Arizona battery complex in two years, creating 53GWh annual capacity and 4,000 jobs by 2026.

LG Energy Solution's $5.5 billion Arizona battery manufacturing complex, consisting of two facilities producing 46-Series EV batteries and LFP pouch-type batteries for energy storage systems, is on track for completion in two years. First hiring is set to begin at the end of this year. Once operational, the facilities will have an average annual production capacity of 53GWh, beginning production in 2026 and creating thousands of jobs.
