Lebanon's billionaire caretaker prime minister, Najib Mikati, has denied allegations of money laundering after two anti-corruption groups filed a complaint in France. Sherpa and the Collective of Victims of Fraudulent and Criminal Practices submitted the complaint to France's National Financial Prosecutor's office, accusing Mikati of accumulating significant wealth in France through fraudulent means. Mikati has defended his family's "integrity" and "transparency" in a statement.
